1. Tell us a little bit about Adamant.

Adamant Coin (ADMC) was launched as a DeFi token in early 2021 by founder I, Dominic Go. As a cryptocurrency, ADMC was designed to generate income for its holders by being a deflationary token and to give them the opportunity to donate to charities of their choice. In this way, ADMC holders are able to not only grow financially but also contribute socially.
Although ADMC is still in its infancy stage as a coin, their recent IDO phase 2, during which all available stock was sold out, indicates a bright future for all ADMC holders.
But growth does not stop here as a multi-faceted man with the drive for success. As a doctor, investor, entrepreneur, and avid gamer, I seek to bring ADMC to the moon by establishing Adamant Mine, the official NFT game for ADMC, where players dig through the earth to find precious rewards. With this new addition to the business model, ADMC expands its scope, tapping into the gamer in each person to Play, Earn, Donate and Burn.

2. Why do you want to work in the game industry?

The NFT gaming industry is a rapidly growing space. Play-to-earn games can help many people, especially during these tough times of a pandemic wherein many people are losing their jobs. My goal is to be part of the solution and help others. Adamant also has community charities embedded into the project wherein the players and holders are able to be a part of such social activities while earning.

3. Please tell us something about your experience with creating this game.

It’s really difficult balancing the development of this project and my life as a Doctor. As medical interns at the time of a pandemic, we have lots of work to do on a daily basis. This led to many sleepless nights for months, including tonight as I am having this interview with you. I’d be communicating with people all over the world in different time zones while balancing my duty as a medical intern.

4. What are the problems you have faced while developing Adamant?

Funding was our biggest struggle at first. We did not look for external sources for funding, and my brother and I solely funded this project out of our pockets. We hired a lot of professionals and staff to help us work on this project in order for it to succeed at a faster pace, and it was quite costly.

5. Game development can be a tiring process. How have you refrained from burning out?

I’m leading a team of six developers, including myself, who are in charge of the project’s development (these are solely our game development side and exclude all other operation staff). It’s a lot simpler because I’m working with a group of like-minded people who want to alter how gaming and charity work are done.

6. What is an Adamant goal?

The primary goal of Adamant is to create a sustainable play-to-earn game that can give consistent revenue for its players while being able to help and participate in charity work in the long run.

7. In your opinion, what makes Adamant a good game?

I believe what makes Adamant Mine a great game is its simplicity. It’s a very straightforward game, and we aim to have this as an accessible and stress-free type of game. It’s also not really taxing, taking less than 10 minutes per day to receive the maximum incentives per account. This way, players can continue with their daily life without being adamant as an extra burden to consume the important hours of their lives. We want this game to be a bonus, a great addition to everyone’s daily routine, and not a replacement for the other important things they need to get done in the player’s day-to-day life.
